KMS alias “Kalle Firma” was somewhat of a celebrity in Gränna, and of course they city chose to commission him to produce the poster for Gränna’s 300 year celebration in 1952.

In the 1940s the State Railways (Statens Järnvägar) bragged about having cheap round trips. Wherever you are going, and whenever you are going, the train is the best and cheapest.

Gunnar Nordgren had a long career in advertising, with a lot of assignments from Sälen and other mountain areas. This poster describes the moment when you see the mountain close up for the first time and you wonder how it looks so steep.
