Some things just feel eternal. Like the harmony of skiing in Swedish Lapland. This poster was created almost 100 years ago, but hey, it looks like the 2020’s, doesn’t it? The poster was commissioned by the Swedish Tourist Association, they sure knew what the people needed in the stressful 1930s, sorry … the 2020’s.

Haraldsson’s picture collection is unique and a true cultural heritage, and much of it is in the Ájtte Museum in Jokkmokk. The poster is also […]

Take the train to the Artic Circle and see the magical midnightsun! Bengt Brattström has in a simple but beautitful way illustrated the red sun. Brattström was teaching illustration at Konstfack and also wrote a book about chromatics, so it’s no wonder that the colors in this posters are perfect.

Im Hohen Norden

Im hohen Norden – it does sound poetic, doesn’t it? This poster, created by Olle Skrede, was published in, at least, German, English and Swedish. Somehow this poster succeeds in capturing the colors of all the four seasons, with simple, but well thought-out, elements and lines. Looking at this graphic poster it might be hard […]
