Hey you! Welcome to the beautiful province of Västerbotten – West Bothnia! We’ve got rivers, mountains and even a small village with a church – and a factory. Yes, this charming image was how Västerbotten was marketed to travellers all over the world. We believe the poster is from the 1930s (it is undated). We discovered this poster deep down in an archive and now, probably for the first time in 90 years, it’s available to the public again. Enjoy! And oh, there are some very nice cities in the province as well. Check out Umeå (founded in 1622) and Skellefteå (1845).
