About the artwork
This poster was commissioned by Ångermanlands Turistförbund and was recognized in 1948 in the monthly newspaper “Advertiser”. There, the signature “Mr Poster” writes:
“The landscape poster from Ångermanland has a solid base. The idea of using the flower typical for the landscape, which is shown in the front, as well as the autumn vein is good. If you want to comment on something, we feel that the forepart could have had more color. Otherwise, the poster makes a friendly and appealing expression, and the composition is good. Grade 4 (out of 5) ”.
