In the beginning and middle of the 1900’s the travel poster was a must for cities with the ambition of attracting tourists. Gothenburg was of course no exception. The poster spread across the world and was posted in travel agencies and train stations across Europe. With Gothenburg’s glowing cliffs in the evening sun, Göta älv and Skansen Kronan in the background, the choice of travel destination would become obvious: let’s travel to Gothenburg!
