I am inspired by illustrations and graphics from the 1950s and by the many ski trips I made as a child to pine-furnished ski cabins.
Not to mention the altitude and the freshness you feel when you are out in nature on your skis.
… But the best was probably always coffee.
Surely travel posters can’t simply remain a cry from the past?
Absolutely not. We live in a completely visual world where the picture is stronger than ever. That’s why the following question hit us: How would contemporary artists depict Sweden of today?
We could not let that thought go. That’s why we arrange travel poster contests and occassionally we ask selected artists to create something special for us.
So now Sweden once again attracts travellers with glamour and cries of joy. With the help of the travel poster!
