Bergslagen is a region that traditionally is known as a mining district. Since the Middle Ages (and probably much longer), mining has been important to the region, so it is obvious that iron should be included in the only poster we have found from the area. Today, however, all the former mines have closed. Times change, but we are lucky to have a poster that remind us of the time that has been!
In addition to the mining, another pride has been given the largest place in the poster – Örebro Castle. The castle is located on an island and was originally built as a strategic defense castle as early as the 14th century. On this unique poster, the pride of the fine building is visible.
