Lars-Olov ”Olle” Laurelius was a an active artist, based in Stockholm. After the war, in 1946, he visited Paris to create unforgettable sketches from the French capital.
Stockholm artist Lars-Olov “Olle” Laurelius was an advertising manager; draftsman and painter. He studied at Konstfackskolan and was a scholar in France, Germany and Denmark. He executed a decorative oil painting in the Royal Mint Cabinet in 1945. Furthermore, he created decorative paintings in tempera for the Postal Museum in Stockholm in 1950. In addition, he illustrated books for, among others, Forum’s publishing house and publishing house Svenska bokförlaget. He is represented in the Stockholm city museum with pencil drawings from old Söder in 1945.
