Olle Ericson was a well-liked and appreciated teacher at Anders Beckman’s School, and he also worked with illustrations and posters in Beckman’s Atelier. One of his students and good friends, the artist Lars Erik Falk, remembers him with missing words and writes in his memoirs:
“I got close contact with a young teacher at the school, Olle Ericson, and during a summer vacation I helped him with some work, which was very instructive. Among other things, he had a comission for a poster to Skansen. He thought I had so many good opinions about the artwork, so it felt like he saw me like a coworker, not a student. ”
When Ericson was paid for that specific poster he gave Falk a portion of the amount. Olle Ericson was elected into the Swedish Poster Illustrators association (SAFFT) in 1948.
